Stop the argument – Rev. Frimpong Manso to critics on National Cathedral

September 11, 2018

President of Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), Rev. Prof. Paul Yaw Frimpong Manso has urged critics to stop criticizing the building of National Cathedral.

The President Nana Akufo Addo on Monday, March 6, 2017, cuts sword for the construction of a 5000 seated national cathedral for the interdenominational house of worship and prayer in Accra.

Some structure will be pulled down to make way for the project. Buildings like the Scholarship Secretariat, the Passport Office and some nine bungalows occupied by Appeals Court Judges have been earmarked for demolition.

According to the President, the national cathedral will also serve as a venue for formal state occasions of a religious nature, such as presidential inaugurations, state funerals, and thanksgiving services.

But some people have criticized the move urging the President to invest in more prudent projects.

But the President of GPCC has warned critics to shut up for their argument will end nowhere.

He told Adom News that, a temple for God is a laudable idea which should be supported by many.

Rev. Frimpong Manso was grateful to President Nana Akufo-Addo for the land given to Christians to build the project and promised that the trustees on the committee will never disappoint him.
