Yaa Pono has been crowned the rapper of the year at the just ended Ghana Music Awards UK, after he’s failed several times to win one at the VGMAs.
He didn’t just win the rapper of the year on the night, but also two other awards and now the Shatta fans, wouldn’t have any reason to continue trolling him just because he’s not won an award for rapper of the year in the music industry.
Yaa Pono also won the collaboration of the year for his song, ‘Obiaa Woni Master’ which he featured his cousin, Stonebwoy on it. He also won Best Hiplife artiste of the year.
In excitement, Yaa Pono posted on his Instagram; “Small small with hard work…..thanks to Jah and ma fans,,,let‘s keep moving..area,, @ghmusicawardsuk …”
